Ana Celia de Armas Caso was an actor since the age of a kid. Her ethnicity is Cuban however, she is also Spanish. She began her professional career in Cuba with the character of Una Rosa de France. She moved to Madrid in Spain when she was 18 and appeared for a period of six years, between 2007 to 2010, on the cult drama El Internado. After her move to Los Angeles de Armas landed English acting roles in the psychological horror Knock Knock (2014) and the comedy crime film War Dogs (2017). The role she played as the Holographic AI Joi from Blade Runner 2049 (2017)'s sci-fi film, gained her fame. Ana de Armas dated Ben Affleck prior to the actor's marriage to Jennifer Lopez. Affleck dated Ana de Armas for nearly an entire year after their collaboration on Deep Water. Ana de Armas got more focus because she was with Ben Affleck. However, it wasn't the type of relationship that people want. It's good news that the show will continue on with Ballerina which is a spinoff that will air in the near future starring Ana de Armas as Rooney, a killer who only appears in a minor role within John Wick: Chapter 3 -- Parabellum (where she was as played by Unity Phelan).
